In an interview with Al-Jazeera, Israel’s Deputy Prime Minister admits that Iran did not threaten to wipe Israel off the map, and Ahmedinajad was misquoted.
Deputy PM :”They didn’t say ‘we’ll wipe it out’, you’re right. They didn’t say ‘we’ll wipe it out’, you’re right.”
Interviewer : ” I’m glad you’ve acknowledged that they didn’t say they will wipe it out.”
